Product Overview

6-Cavity 76 mm Pitch — 7,200 bph · Ultra-High-Volume Narrow-Body

The HGA.ES-6C76 is a 6-cavity blow molding machine at 76 mm pitch — the same pitch as the 4C76, scaled to six simultaneous cavities. It produces narrow-body PET bottles up to 68 mm body diameter, 38 mm neck diameter, and 700 ml volume at 7,200 bph. This is the highest output of any 76 mm pitch machine in the series — 50% more than the 4C76 at the same narrow-body bottle format.

The 38 mm neck ceiling is narrower than the 4C76's 48 mm — reflecting the tighter cavity spacing constraints of six cavities at 76 mm pitch. The 38 mm neck covers standard PCO 1881 and PCO 1810 neck finishes used in the highest-volume 500 ml water and CSD bottle formats globally. For national-scale water brands, large CSD producers, and agrochemical manufacturers requiring the highest available narrow-body output from a single machine, the 6C76 provides output that would otherwise require multiple lower-cavity machines.

The 130-position preform holder — the largest in the 6-cavity range — conditions six simultaneous preform streams at 76 mm pitch. At 5,450 x 2,150 x 2,320 mm and 5,500 kg, the 6C76 is compact for 7,200 bph output. CE + ISO 9001:2015 apply. Six-position factory acceptance testing covers all cavities before shipment.

Applications

7,200 bph — Where Single-Machine Narrow-Body Volume is the Constraint

The 6C76 closes the gap between multi-machine 4-cavity installations and true high-volume single-machine production. Six bottles per cycle at 76 mm pitch — suited to the highest-demand narrow-body bottle production environments.

💧
Water & Beverage
500 ml Water — Industrial Scale

7,200 bph standard 500 ml mineral water PET at industrial production scale. Suited to major national water brands with high daily filling line volume requirements that a 4-cavity machine cannot meet from a single installation.

🍺
Water & Beverage
CSD & Beverage — High Volume

250–700 ml narrow-body CSD and carbonated water at 7,200 bph. The 38 mm PCO neck covers the standard closure used in narrow-body carbonated beverage formats across Korea and SEA markets.

🌿
Pesticide & Chemical
Pesticide — Peak Season Volume

250–500 ml narrow-body pesticide spray bottles at 7,200 bph for the highest-volume agrochemical production environments. Six cavities per cycle handles peak-season agricultural chemical production requirements.

🔬
Pesticide & Chemical
Reagent & Sample Bottles

100–500 ml laboratory reagent and chemical sample bottles at high volume for pharmaceutical, laboratory, and analytical supply chains requiring large batch quantities.

💧
Water & Beverage
Contract Packing — Multi-SKU Lines

Contract packers running multiple narrow-body SKUs for multiple clients benefit from 7,200 bph throughput — covering higher client volumes per shift without additional machines on the production floor.

⚙️
Pesticide & Chemical
Industrial Chemical — National Supply

Narrow-body industrial solvent, adhesive, and cleaning concentrate bottles at 7,200 bph for national chemical distribution networks where volume throughput is the primary production constraint.

HGA.ES-4C76
4,800 bph
76 mm · 4 cavities · 48 mm neck · 3,290 x 1,850 mm · 3,500 kg
  • Lower output — suited to mid-high-volume lines
  • Wider 48 mm neck — more closure options
  • Lighter, shorter, lower utility requirements

7,200 bph
76 mm · 6 cavities · 38 mm neck · 5,450 x 2,150 mm · 5,500 kg
  • 50% more output from same pitch — 7,200 bph
  • One machine replaces 1.5× 4C76 units
  • Suits national-scale water and beverage lines

Note: The 6C76 uses a narrower 38 mm neck versus the 4C76's 48 mm. Confirm your closure specification fits within 38 mm before selecting the 6C76. If your closure requires 48 mm neck, the 4C76 is the correct configuration.

Customer Reviews

What Customers Say

National-scale water brand production facility with HGA.ES-6C76
★★★★★

"We replaced two 4C76 machines with one 6C76. 7,200 bph from one machine versus 9,600 bph from two — but one operator, one utility installation, and considerably less floor area. The 38 mm PCO neck was not an issue for our 500 ml water bottle closure. Six-position acceptance testing confirmed inter-cavity consistency before shipment. The 130-position holder is the main reason the inter-cavity numbers are so consistent."

★★★★★

"CSD bottles at 300 ml and 500 ml for national retail distribution — very high volumes per shift. The 6C76 gives us 7,200 bph from one machine, which fully covers our filling line speed at peak production. Closure uses standard 28 mm PCO so the 38 mm neck ceiling was not a constraint. Six-cavity consistency across all positions verified at factory acceptance."

★★★★☆

"Pesticide spray bottles at 250 ml and 500 ml for peak-season agrochemical production. 7,200 bph covers our busiest production weeks from one machine. Important note for anyone planning this: the 38 mm neck is a hard constraint — check your closure specification before ordering tooling. Our spray pump was 36 mm so it fitted, but had we needed 40 mm we would have needed the 4C76 instead."

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the maximum neck on the 6C76 (38 mm) narrower than the 4C76 (48 mm)?

Six cavities at 76 mm pitch creates a tighter blow-station geometry than four cavities at the same pitch. The available space per cavity at the blow station is reduced, which constrains the maximum neck preform diameter that can pass between cavities without interference. 38 mm is the maximum neck that maintains safe clearance across all six positions at 76 mm pitch. If your closure requires a neck above 38 mm, the 4C76 (48 mm neck, 4,800 bph) is the correct 76 mm pitch configuration.

When should I choose the 6C76 over two 4C76 machines?

Two 4C76 machines at 9,600 bph combined have 33% more output than one 6C76 at 7,200 bph — but at the cost of two operator positions per shift, two separate utility connections, two control interfaces, and approximately double the floor area. For operations where 7,200 bph is sufficient and operational simplicity matters, one 6C76 is the more efficient configuration. For operations where 9,600 bph is a firm requirement, two 4C76 machines are the correct approach.

What does the 130-position preform holder mean for production quality?

The 130-position holder provides the longest preform conditioning dwell time in the 76 mm pitch machines of the series — 130 positions divided by 6 cavities means each preform passes through approximately 21.7 holder positions before reaching the blow station. This extended infrared conditioning time allows the heat profile to fully stabilise across all six preform streams before each blow cycle, contributing to the inter-cavity weight and wall thickness consistency measured at factory acceptance testing.
