Product Overview

4-Cavity 100 mm Pitch — Wider Body at High Volume

The HGA.ES-4C100 is the 4-cavity 100 mm pitch machine in the Water, Beverage, Pesticide & Chemical Bottle series — producing PET bottles up to 80 mm body diameter, 68 mm neck diameter, and 800 ml volume at 4,600 bph. It delivers the same 4-cavity high-volume output as the 4C76 but at 100 mm pitch — the wider spacing opens the body ceiling from 68 mm to 80 mm and the neck from 48 mm to 68 mm, and extends the maximum volume from 700 ml to 800 ml.

The 80 mm body and 68 mm neck cover a broader range of standard bottle formats than the 4C76. On the beverage side this includes 500 ml and 600 ml standard water, sports drink, and juice bottles with wider grip profiles — bottle designs where the narrower 68 mm body of the 4C76 limits label area and grip ergonomics. On the chemical side, the 80 mm body accommodates 500 ml – 800 ml lubricant and agrochemical bottles where the wider diameter is a product requirement.

The 92-position preform holder conditions four simultaneous preform streams at 100 mm pitch — slightly fewer positions than the 4C76's 96, reflecting the wider spacing. At 4,170 x 1,930 x 2,340 mm and 4,000 kg, the 4C100 is larger than the 4C76 — site preparation, floor load verification, and utility planning are required before installation. CE + ISO 9001:2015 apply.

The 4C100 bridges the 4C76 (narrow body, highest output) and the 4C114 (wider body, lower output). It is the correct selection when 80 mm body or 68 mm neck is the bottle requirement at 4-cavity throughput.

Performance Characteristics

Why Choose the HGA.ES-4C100

💧 80 mm Body — Standard Beverage Geometry

80 mm is the dominant body diameter for 500–800 ml standard PET beverage bottles in the Asia-Pacific market — providing the label area and grip ergonomics that brand owners specify for retail shelf presentation. The 4C100 produces this standard format at 4,600 bph, making it the natural 4-cavity platform for operations requiring 80 mm body output at high volume.

⚡ 68 mm Neck — Sports Cap & Wide-Mouth

The 68 mm neck ceiling opens the closure range significantly versus the 4C76's 48 mm — covering sport caps, wide-mouth closures, flip-top sports dispensers, and large-diameter tamper-evident ring systems used in sports drink, energy drink, and functional beverage packaging. If your bottle requires any closure wider than 48 mm, the 4C100 is the minimum 4-cavity configuration that accommodates it. View the full series range.

🏭 4,600 bph — High-Volume Standard Body

At 4,600 bph from 4 cavities at 100 mm pitch, the 4C100 is 92% of the 4C76's output at a 17% wider body diameter. For operations where the bottle specification requires 80 mm body and output above 2,400 bph (the 2C100's ceiling), the 4C100 is the correct 4-cavity configuration — closing the gap between 2-cavity entry level and the highest-output narrow-body platform.

🎯 Site Planning — 4,000 kg, 4,170 mm

At 4,000 kg and 4,170 x 1,930 mm, the 4C100 is the heaviest machine in the lower-volume range of this series. Floor load verification by a structural engineer is required before installation. The 4,000 L/min high-pressure air requirement — the highest in the 4-cavity range — requires dedicated compressor infrastructure. Obtain Ever-Power's utility specification document before site preparation begins.

Customer Reviews

What Customers Say

Customer high-volume production site with HGA.ES-4C100 blow molding machine
★★★★★

"We produce 600 ml sports drink bottles for national retail. The 68 mm neck was a non-negotiable requirement for our sport cap closure system — the 4C76 at 48 mm was ruled out immediately. At 4,600 bph the 4C100 covers our full daily production requirement in a single shift. The 80 mm body matches our brand's standard bottle specification across the product range."

★★★★★

"500 ml mineral water and 750 ml juice in the same factory — both requiring 80 mm body. We run both SKUs on the 4C100 with tooling changeover between production runs. 4,600 bph covers the combined daily volume for both products within two shifts. We reviewed the 4C76 but the body diameter would have required a jar redesign for the juice product — the 4C100 at 80 mm avoided any redesign cost."

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The 4C76 has higher output (4,800 bph vs 4,600 bph) at lower weight and lower air consumption. Why would I choose the 4C100?

The 200 bph difference (4%) is operationally insignificant for most production schedules. The meaningful differences are: the 4C100 produces a 80 mm body versus 68 mm (wider label area, grip, and shelf presence); the 68 mm neck versus 48 mm (covering sport caps and wide dispensers the 4C76 cannot); and 800 ml maximum volume versus 700 ml. If your bottle fits within 68 mm body and 48 mm neck, choose the 4C76. If your bottle requires anything wider, the 4C100 is the minimum 4-cavity configuration that accommodates it.

Can I run the same tooling on both the 4C100 and the 2C100 since they share 80 mm body and 68 mm neck?

The container specification (body, neck, volume) is compatible between the two machines — the same bottle geometry can be produced on both. However, the blow mold tooling sets are physically different: 4-cavity tooling for the 4C100 versus 2-cavity for the 2C100, with different pitch spacing. Preform specifications and jar drawings transfer between the two machines; new tooling sets sized for the respective cavity count are required for each machine. Contact Ever-Power to discuss tooling for multi-machine operations at 80 mm body.

Why does the 4C100 require 62.5 KW max heating power versus 40 KW on the 4C76?

The larger preform mass at 80 mm body and 800 ml volume requires more infrared heating energy per preform than the smaller 68 mm / 700 ml preforms on the 4C76. Four preforms are conditioned simultaneously, so the total installed heating capacity scales with preform mass per cycle. The standard operating power remains 21 KW — only the installed maximum capacity increases to accommodate different preform wall profiles and materials.

What floor load and site space does this machine require?

4,000 kg on a 4,170 x 1,930 mm footprint — approximately 497 kg/m². Standard industrial floors rated at 500 kg/m² typically accommodate this without reinforcement; confirm with a structural engineer before installation. Machine height is 2,340 mm — confirm overhead clearance for service access and crane access for 4-cavity mold changeover. Allow downstream clearance for bottle conveyor and sorting equipment sized for 4,600 bph output.
