Product Overview

2-Cavity 150 mm Pitch — Wider Body Edible Oil and Handle Bottle up to 2,500 ml

The HGA.ES-2C150 is the second model in the Edible Oil and Handle Bottle series — producing PET bottles up to 130 mm body diameter, 110 mm neck diameter, and 2,500 ml volume at 1,800 bph. The step from 130 mm to 150 mm pitch widens the blow station geometry to accommodate oil bottle formats with a 130 mm body — a body width that the 2C130 cannot reach — while maintaining the same 1,800 bph output as the entry model.

The 2,500 ml volume ceiling covers the large-format retail cooking oil segment — the 2-litre and 2.5-litre family-size oil bottle that is the dominant container in institutional catering supply and the top-of-range retail SKU for premium cooking oil brands. The 110 mm neck accommodates the wide-mouth pouring closures and handle-integrated neck systems used in large-format oil packaging. For the entire edible oil and handle bottle series, see the category page.

The 440 mm mold-open distance — wider than the 2C130 at 360 mm — provides the clearance for handle tooling with larger protrusion geometry, including the rear-handle formats favored in 2-litre premium cooking oil packaging. At 4,290 x 1,800 x 2,220 mm and 3,500 kg. CE + ISO 9001:2015 apply.

Key notes: 440 mm mold-open distance (80 mm wider than 2C130) is the key enabler for wide-body handle tooling. Operating heating power at 18 KW reflects the wider pitch and additional preform mass versus the 2C130 at 8–13 KW. HP air range identical to 2C130 — same compressor specification applies.

Applications

130 mm Body · 2,500 ml — Premium Format Cooking Oil and Wide-Neck Condiment

The 2C150 platform covers the larger cooking oil retail formats and institutional catering sizes not reachable by the 2C130 — from the 2-litre family-size bottle to the 2.5-litre catering jug.

🥘
2-Litre Retail Cooking Oil

The dominant 2-litre family-size cooking oil bottle in retail grocery — palm oil, sunflower oil, and blended oil in the top-selling volume tier. 130 mm body provides the wider label area and shelf presence that premium retail oil brands specify for the 2-litre format. Not achievable on the 2C130 platform.

🥽
2.5-Litre Handle Oil Jug

2.5-litre rear-handle or front-handle cooking oil PET jugs for catering supply and institutional kitchen use. The 440 mm mold-open distance and 450 mm stretch stroke accommodate the wider-body, taller-profile geometry of the 2.5-litre oil jug format.

🌶
Wide-Neck Condiment — 1 to 2.5 Litre

1-litre to 2.5-litre PET condiment bottles with wide 110 mm neck for soy sauce, cooking wine, and bulk seasoning sauce. The 110 mm neck ceiling supports wide-mouth dispensing and pump-closure systems used in catering-format condiment packaging.

🍽
Salad Oil and Specialty Oil — 2 Litre

2-litre PET bottles for olive oil, sesame oil, and specialty blended oils in premium retail and food service supply. Wide 130 mm body provides the premium shelf profile that specialty oil brands require at the 2-litre SKU.

🍳
Cooking Sauce — Bulk Catering

1.5-litre to 2.5-litre PET catering-format cooking sauce, marinade, and hot sauce containers for food service supply. The wide neck and robust 130 mm body suit the larger dispensing closure and handling requirements of commercial kitchen supply.

📦
Institutional Edible Oil Supply

2-litre and 2.5-litre cooking oil PET containers for institutional catering, airline catering, and hotel kitchen supply chains. The handle-bottle format in this size improves pour control and reduces spillage in high-volume commercial kitchen environments.

Customer Reviews

What Customers Say

Customer production site running HGA.ES-2C150 for 2-litre cooking oil bottles
★★★★★

"Our 2-litre premium olive oil bottle requires a 128 mm body diameter — the 2C130 could not reach it. The 2C150 at 130 mm body is the exact fit. The 440 mm mold-open gave us clearance for our rear-handle tooling without interference. We run at 1,800 bph, which matches our filling line capacity. The 110 mm neck accommodates our wide-mouth pour spout system."

HGA.ES-2C150

★★★★★

"We produce 2.5-litre cooking oil and 2-litre soy sauce on the same machine — tooling changeover between the two product lines takes about 90 minutes. The wide 110 mm neck fits our catering-format soy sauce closure and the oil bottle closure without modification. Operating energy at 18 KW is well within our facility capacity."

"Institutional catering supply — 2-litre cooking oil and 2-litre cooking sauce for airline and hotel kitchen supply. The handle-bottle format at this size is required by our catering clients for kitchen ergonomics. The machine handles both product lines with a preform and mold change. Note: the 450 mm stretch stroke is necessary to reach the base of the taller 2.5-litre format — make sure your preform length specification is reviewed with Ever-Power before ordering."

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the key specification difference between the 2C130 and 2C150?

The 2C150 adds 20 mm to the cavity pitch (150 vs 130 mm), widens the mold-open distance from 360 mm to 440 mm, extends the stretch stroke from 350 mm to 450 mm, and raises the maximum body diameter from 110 mm to 130 mm and maximum volume from 1,500 ml to 2,500 ml. Operating heating power increases from 8–13 KW to 18 KW. Everything else — cavity count, output rate, air system specification, cooling water specification — is identical. The decision between the two models comes down entirely to whether your bottle requires a body diameter above 110 mm or a volume above 1,500 ml.

Can the 2C150 produce both handle and non-handle oil bottles?

Yes — standard (no-handle), front-handle, and rear-handle blow mold sets are all compatible with the 2C150 blow station. The 440 mm mold-open distance provides sufficient clearance for handle protrusion geometry at the 130 mm body scale. Submit your handle design drawing to Ever-Power for a tooling feasibility assessment before placing the mold order. Changeover between handle and non-handle tooling follows the standard blow mold set change procedure.

When should I consider the HGA.ES-2C200 instead?

Move to the 2C200 when your oil bottle requires a body diameter above 130 mm or a volume above 2,500 ml. The 2C200 reaches 180 mm body, 138 mm neck, and 5,000 ml at 1,600 bph — covering the 5-litre large-format cooking oil container. If your core format is the 2-litre or 2.5-litre family-size bottle at or below 130 mm body, the 2C150 is the more cost-effective configuration.
