IL HGJ-B is Korea Ever-Power's wide-neck jar preform infrared heater — the companion unit for HGS Series semi-automatic blow molding machines when the preform neck finish exceeds the 68 mm ceiling of the standard HGJ-CL heater. Available in two configurations — 18-position for neck finishes up to 130 mm, E 36-position for neck finishes up to 65 mm — the HGJ-B covers the wide-neck PET jar, cosmetic container, and large-mouth bottle formats that require a dedicated heater design.

The HGJ-B uses digital infrared zone heating to condition preforms to the correct blow temperature before operator transfer to the HGS blow station. The wide holder geometry accommodates wide-neck preform bodies that cannot be seated in the standard 96-position HGJ-CL carousel. At 500–1,000 preforms per hour throughput, the HGJ-B is matched to the output range of the HGS150A and HGS200A when producing wide-neck jar formats.

Digital Infrared Zone Control

The HGJ-B uses digital infrared zone heating to condition preforms to the correct blow temperature profile. Zone control allows different sections of the preform body to be heated to different temperatures — critical for wide-neck jar preforms where the body wall thickness distribution and the relationship between body and neck heat profile differs significantly from standard bottle preforms.
